Community Team Building

For the first few weeks of school students were tasked with getting to know each other and myself. We worked on empathy interviews of each other, a human scavenger hunt, some play outdoors, and individual, community, and historical timelines. This community building ended with an art project that required each class to work as a team to replicate a work of art that they voted on. Each student was responsible for a square of the painting and needed to work with the surrounding peers to make sure that their square worked with each other.
